New era in China: A place full of opportunities

Hong In-soo is a Korean businessman and he has been living in Shenyang for 18 years, managing five restaurants. He wants to expand to more Chinese cities as he sees China as a place full of opportunities.

Hong is very impressed by China's rapid economic development and really enjoys his life and work in Shenyang. "Shenyang people are very friendly," he said, adding that the local district of Xita is known as a mecca of Korean culture and there are so many Shenyang people who love Korean food. He feels great satisfaction when people choose to come to his restaurants for an authentic Korean experience.

"They don't see me as an outsider, but as a member of their community," Hong said. "I look forward to opening more stores in many other Chinese cities."
